Jason
Scott Rosen

is a worldbuilding creative director, experience producer, creative technologist, and business strategist.  Based in the ATL, NYC, STL, and LA, respectively, he specializes in steering complex media multi-phase productions through to a successful launch. He has led prestigious accounts and talented cross-functional expert teams through engagements for prominent brands, organizations, institutions and agencies. 

Currently, he is stationed with Digital Kitchen as Senior Producer focusing on urban assemblies, immersive experiences, fiction, and entertainment. Jason offers executive creative and technical consulting services in the arenas of immersive, interactive, experiential, entertainment, attraction, and assemblies production. His overarching aim across these fields is to push innovation at the convergence of media, arts, and communication technologies in a meaningful way through his fluency of all types of producorial endeavors. Bildungsromans are key in the Chthulucene, after all.

Jason holds an MS in Fiction and Entertainment at SCI-Arc, where he studied with Liam Young and David Ruy. He incepted the direction and production of a durational immersive transmedia cinematic experience via virtual production, which will released in 2023. He earned an MPS from NYU Tisch in Interactive Telecommunications, where his thesis was a speculative critical design concept of a foundry that created luxury survival wares and apparel for those living at the juncture of technocratic urbanity and climate doom.

He obtained his BA from Sarah Lawrence College with a dual concentration in permutative outcomes of Science, Technology and Society, and Material Cultures of Sub-Saharan African cities. He was a conceiver and steward of Dominique Malaquais’ Right2Fight Symposium, and also worked closely with Karen Rader on ushering in Donna Haraway’s treatises into active kinesis. He also co-founded and led the Agent Agitateur, Inc. Video Collective, along with Silky Shoemaker, Margaret Wright, and Janine Fleuri during these formative chapters. He was an avid contributor to A*Space, under the direction of Elizabeth Chodos.

He also participated in The Shape of Two Cities Program at Columbia GSAPP, dedicated to progressing the sociopolitical and cultural discourses between New York City and Paris through architectural design, theory, history, and experimental urban studies studio verticals. He focused his efforts in Macarthur Park, Harlem, as well as the banlieus of Genevilliers, Paris there.

Key collaborators in perpetuity include Gaby Re, Alice Tallman, James La Marre, Sasha Fuentes, Karolina Ziulkoski, Hanny Ahern, and Laura Cox.

Passionate in making technology more accessible amongst intersectional factions marginilalized by societies, he also facilitates public community-based innovation programs and experiential activations on behalf of the Queer Underground Hi-Speed Railways Continuum, otherwise known as the former Spectrum Kindoms.  In 2018, he conceived and produced the Death by Audio Arcade Residency at their Dreamhouse, which brought together a creative queer safe space with a DIY tech collective, culminating in the launch of a system of 9 magical games known as the Dreamboxxx, encompassed by a durational symposium.

Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?
